Moon Tending provides a lot of information in an easy to understand format. The paid version has information for moon phase, moonrise, moonset, what zodiac sign the moon is in and when the moon is transitioning between signs - called void of course. Biodynamic day indicators for leaf, flower, fruit and root days. It also has daily tips for what to do in the garden based on the phases of the moon.

This is an optional setting. If you grant permission, the app uses your approximate location to calculate accurate moonrise and moonset times and to localize lunar data. Your location is processed on your device and is not sent to or stored on our servers. We use Apple's on-device services to turn coordinates into a place name.

As of June, 2026, the app is $2.99 a month, $19.99 a year or $49.99 for lifetime. There is a free version of the app with limited features.
